We touched in with Miss Mack at the Redmond Oregon THC Fair. Now, They have been in business for the last 2 years and have placed in the top 5 of the Oregon Medical Cannabis Cup for multiple categories of medible. While their crispy treats took 3rd place for Best cereal bar in 2014 and 2015, I have a soft spot in my heart for peanut butter cups.

As a health conscious individual, I am keenly aware that a peanut butter cup is doing my midsection no good. That aside, there was a sense of relief when I read the ingredients list. Not because it was sugar free or anything, but because I could pronounce the ingredients. Things like Cocoa Powder, Creamy Peanut Butter and Maple Syrup. Now, there were also things like Candy Corn which I know has a complex chemical makeup of basically salt, sugar and wax but I still appreciate the honesty of labeling.

As for the taste and effects, I was pleased. The green flavor is more of an aftertaste but still present enough to make you keenly aware of the concentrated cannabis within. The flavor was sweet and rich without being overwhelming while at the same time the texture was smooth and silky. The effects came on quickly enough, (about 25-35 minutes) and lasted for well over an hour. At an individual dosing of ~36 mg of usable product, it was potent enough to provide relief after a single serving without making me a lazy panda.

Miss Mack also has the packaging game down. The product was easy to access, visible and transportable while still having a distinct flair. I dug the doily at the bottom, harkening back to grandma’s treats without having to dive full-on into the Old Fashioned theme. It was a touch of feminine class that was appreciated and tastefully done.

Now how do you get some? The best way is to request them at your local dispensary. Currently, Miss Mack is across the state of Oregon with better representation in the Portland/Salem area. If you want to get in touch directly, click here.
